Troop 31 Driver Information
|
Because of BSA requirements, we MUST HAVE ALL of the following information on any car used on any scout outing.
If there is the slightest chance you might drive for a troop outing, please provide the information. Also, let
us know if there are any changes during the year. All vehicles must be covered by a public liability and property
damage liability insurance policy. The amount of the coverage must meet or exceed the insurance requirements of the
state in which the vehicle is licensed. (It is recommended that coverage limits are at least $50,000/ 100,000/50,000).
Any vehicle carrying ten (10) or more passengers is required to have limits of $100,000/300,000/100,000. In the case
of rented vehicles the requirement of coverage limits can be met by combining the limits of personal coverage carried
by the driver with coverage carried by the owner of the rented vehicle. All vehicles used in travel outside the United
States must carry a public liability and property damage liability insurance policy that complies with or exceeds the
requirements of that country.
Please complete and submit the form below to verify that you meet the requirements above and so that the Troop 31
Committee and uniformed leadership has a record of your qualifications to drive on scout outings. Owners/drivers of
vans or similar multi-passenger vehicles are appreciated since this helps us keep our fuel costs and parking
requirements to a minimum.
Please resubmit the form for additional vehicles and as your information changes.
We hope to see you at one of our upcoming outings!
